(Toby) OstEuropean Field Application Specialist Pacific Biosciences Previously with Solexa as an R&D Biochemist developing and refining the SBS sequencing chemistry and cluster generation chemistry, co-inventor of the paired-end sequencing methodology. Subsequent to the acquisition by Illumina in 2007, I transitioned into the commercial side of the company and supported the GA install base at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute. I joined Pacific Biosciences in September 2010 as the UK Senior Field Applications Specialist, responsible for the install and support of PacBio RS in the UK and (initially) the rest of Europe. << back to overview |
