Dr. L. (Lloyd) McCall Director Molecular Breeding Bayer Crop Science Dr. Lloyd McCall joined Stoneville Pedigreed Seed Company in March, 1998, as the US Mid-South Research Station Manager, with responsibilities for developing conventional varieties, supervising the development of transgenic varieties, and establishing variety development efforts in both Argentina and Brazil. In 2000, he was named the U.S. Plant Breeding Manager, then in mid 2003, became the Director of U.S. Research and Development. After the Bayer acquisition of Stoneville in 2007, Lloyd served as the Eastern U.S. Cotton Breeding Manager, then the Director of Global Cotton Breeding and is now the Director of Molecular Breeding where he uses his 30+ years of experience to guide, support, and direct molecular breeding activities to develop superior products for all field crops. << back to overview |
