 Dr. J. (Jack) PeartPlant Agrigenomics Specialist Illumina UK Ltd Jack graduated in Applied Biology from Imperial College London and followed his undergraduate studies with a PhD at the Sainsbury Laboratory in Norwich. There, under the supervision of Prof. David Baulcombe, Jack used gene silencing as a tool to identify genes required for plant disease resistance. Jack stayed on at the Sainsbury lab to complete a post-doc before gaining his commercial grounding as a sales specialist with Sigma Aldrich. He then joined Illumina and in his three years with Illumina he has held various roles in their commercial group. Jack currently focuses on plant customers using illumina technologies for their research. << back to overview |
